My Unpopular Opinion on Black

This black collection was part of formal/wedding wear. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of black for festive occasions. But people always say black gives gold and silver a solid base to shine against __ like they say, stars shine brightest on the darkest nights. For me, royal blue or dark bottle green or deep maroon are the perfect substitutes.
And of course, we all know the significance of the little black dress; a piece Audrey Hepburn basically turned into a global icon back in the 1960s. Although Coco Chanel originally introducted the LBD in the 1920s. I've also heard black is perfect because it hides body imperfections__ but honestly, I don't think anyone should dress by those rules. You should wear what makes you happy and makes you feel pretty. Audrey herself put it best: "I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls."
But that's just me, although you should probably listen to me, because I'm always right........LOL.
Anyways, I'll say this: the collection was still good. With black, you don't have to do much, it goes with everything. The top piece has sheer golden polka georgette sleeves and hidden panels, with a self-striped main body, golden edging and an embellished motif on both shoulders. The bottom pieces were paneled A-line shirts. The right one had shiny red and black borders at the neckline, red piping and with a gold and silver sequins lozenge motif. Its dupatta was black & white tie-dye with red shiny edging. The left one had a silver silk with a black & silver cheetah print on cuffs and hem.
I'd love to know what you think of my color theory. Is it team black or are you with me on royal blue, bottle green or maroon?
Anyways, that's my black dress TED talk. You're welcome.
