Brown, Lace, & a Little Bit Of Leopard

So after the violet hour, now comes the brown collection.
There were a lot of other desings, but I'm just sharing the ones I was able to save from the Facebook page. A lot of the time, we don't realize the value of something until later. I still remember our instructor in fashion school telling us to take photos of our assignments and save them, but we were just so carefree about it. There are a few assignments I remember being really good work, but we never bothered to save the pictures. Only now, looking back at these , do I realize how much fun it was designing back then. Getting particular about the cuts, or having full-on arguments with the dyer just to match the exact shade.
This brown collage is among other brown dresses I designed. Like I mentioned, the fun part of working in that setup was freedom to explore. So for this one, I decided to combine blue lace and silver motif over brown. The middle piece was my way of going daring- I added leopard print to the cuffs. And the bottom one was my favorite. For someone who covers her head (which is common in Pakistan), going with a necklace style embellishment felt like a win-win.
Glad I found these before they were gone for the good. Thanks for sticking around, more's coming just on my own time.
