Final Collection- Dandy School Of Fashion Design, Lahore 2009

This was our final project fashion show at Dandy School of Fashion Designing, Lahore. To be honest one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

Each student has to create three looks: daywear, cocktail & evening wear.

My theme was Sufism, its flowing forms, earthy tones and quite spiritual elegance translated into fabric the way I understood.

The black and white striped piece was the mock version of my daywear design. The rest went on the runway.

Looking at these photos now, over fifteen years later, I still feel proud of what I made. Not because they were perfect, but because every stich came from a place that was completely and honestly mine.

Some things you make for grades. Some things you make for yourself. This collection was both.
