Where My Colors Actually Came From

These are some of the pieces from my work back in 2011. I got to create my own color palette, and I picked my color combinations from nature. And trust me I didn't copy my ideas from any other source. I was even told to "see and get ideas" but I just couldn't do it. For me, that was cheating. It was great for creativity, not always great for business.

So, I came up with my own color combinations, fabric mixes, and sometimes even the cuts. I was ecstatic about the mustard/steel blue piece. The teal/coral ombre with beaded medallion was my favorite color combination. And orange over brown was a shock for everyone.

But again, my work doesn't make sense until it works.
